Let the games begin: France vs Romania

Football, like most modern sports, has a history that can be traced back to ancient times. A first version of this sport was Cuju, a Chinese game played in the 3rd century B.C., that involved kicking a ball into a net. It became quite popular, being played by all classes and genders, from soldiers to young aristocratic ladies.

Today football (or soccer for those living in North America) is one of the most popular sport in the world. Millions of fans around the world are entertained weekly by their favorite teams, some players have emerged as international superstars and names like Barcelona or Manchester United are known in the most remote corners of the world.

The bets are on!

We are now just a couple of days until the start of the Euro 2016, with the opening game featuring the home team, France, and on the other side, Romania. For this special occasion I’ve challenged myself to create two makeup styles inspired by the colors of the teams. This was a great exercise and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to test their creativity.

Is it the sparkle of France that will win the game, or the warmth of Romania that will lead the way? I call it a draw!
